In my day-to-day work life I tend to wear a lot of dresses. They're easy; one piece, add some shoes and your're ready to go. But, this ease doesn't mean it's easy to mix it up. It actually means the opposite. With one piece, there are only so many ways you can wear it.
But, I was up for the challenge.
I took one of my favourite dresses and decided to pair it with all brown accessories to bring out the brown tones, and give it a subtle change.
Same great dress, subtle new look!

DeleteCute dress! I find it's all about adding different pieces when trying to change up the look of a dress. Whether it's layering it over a turtleneck, throwing on a cardigan or different accessories.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's definitely something I have to try more often. I find because dresses are so easy, I never switch it up - but after realizing how little it takes to change the look I will be doing it much more often.

DeleteI love dresses because they're easy... but I often hesitate about buying them {not for long, I admit} because it is hard to wear them in a variety of different ways. I think you did a great job of restyling this one, the brown sweater really brings out the warm tones in the dress :) Happy holidays, lovely!
