As I continue to battle this cold/flu, which seems to have morphed into a fresh new hell this weekend, let's take a look back at an outfit I wore a couple of weeks ago to an incredibly awkward dinner.
Although my dinner experience was awkward, my outfit was not. This silky blouse from Jacob has quickly become one of my go-to pieces; simple, yet it can make any accompanying piece look elegant (case in point, my skinnies and a cardigan).
So, even though I won't be repeating that particular dining experience, this is definitely a look I'll be trying again.

I have the same blouse in red! Totally agree, it's very wearable and looks good under almost any circumstance. I like how the sash can be tied through the keyhole for a bow blouse look too.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon, Kate!
Oooh the blouse probably looks so good in red!
DeleteI agree, I love how versatile it is with the bow, it's quickly become one of my favs.
Thanks Lisa :)
I definitely need a nice silky white blouse like this in my arsenal! It must be so versatile. As long as you don't spill spaghetti sauce on it :)

P.S. I'd love it if you would visit my blog, Sarah's Real Life!
I have been known to wear a makeshift bib when wearing this blouse, but it's totally worth it to make sure it stays white.
DeleteAwkward date I presume? Well at least you looked beautiful, I love the sheen of the top. I really hope you feel better soon xo
