Menswear for women is not one of the trends I've coveted over the past few season. My style is more feminine and classic, so I tend to gravitate away from menswear. However, as I was shopping my closet one morning I realized I had more than a few pieces that would work for this trend - so I thought I would give it a try.
These pants were one of the first purchases I made when I moved from a casual office to one with an actual dress code. Like most pieces I buy, these pants needed some tailoring, which is why I've owned them for almost a year and have yet to wear them.

Sadly, there is still a puddle of fabric at my feet, even after they've been hemmed. But that didn't stop me from wearing them this past Thursday.
Paired with more feminine and fitted pieces, I thought this look brought together the menswear trend and my more feminine aesthetic.

I'm starting to think that I might have to try menswear more often.
